Visiting Buzz

On December 3, a group of 15 people from the UK visited FMM as part of a 12-day self-drive 4×4 tour of the Cape organised by Classic Grand Touring, a well-established company that organises classic and supercar tours and adventures around the world. The company is owned and run by South African Mark Woolley. Mark is a member of the well-known classic car enthusiast Woolley family: two of FMM’s Bugattis once belonged to his Johannesburg-based father, Clive.

Starting and ending in Cape Town, the journey began in Cape Town and took participants through the captivating Karoo semi-desert, the renowned Garden Route, and the scenic winelands in and around Franschhoek, culminating back in Cape Town. Encompassing a blend of luxurious hotels and magnificent safari lodges, the adventure struck a balance between driving, relaxation, and enjoying the best that South Africa has to offer including nights under the stars, access to restricted game reserves, whale watching and driving lesser-known driving passes.

Further group visits are planned for March and November.
