11 Aug JAGUAR D-TYPE PRESENTATION

At a recent ‘storytellers evening’ held at Crossley and Webb’s stunning new Cape Town showrooms I was  privileged to be invited to present the museum’s Jaguar D-Type XKD573. The D-Type is the most successful Jaguar ever to enter Le Mans, it won in 1955, 1956 and made a clean sweep of the top four places in 1957 with XKD 573 finishing fourth. It was a great evening spent looking at the wonderful array of Jaguars on display, kicking tyres and sharing stories with Big Cat owners of the Cape. WH
