Sentimetal Run

FMM recently took part in a slightly off the wall ‘Sentimetal Run’ organised by Hannes Oosthuizen, former CAR magazine editor and now Customer Experience Manager of cars.co.za. The initiative brought together people from all walks of life with their prized four-wheeled possessions. FMM curator Wayne Harley used the run to exercise the museum’s Alfa Romeo Brera, and the run took the crews from Cape Town out to Kleinmond via Gordon’s Bay. After a quick coffee break, the cars headed home via the Franschhoek Pass while some of the group went on to lunch at a new spot known as the Grill Shake. “It was a great informal run of like-minded people who just enjoy cars and kicking tyres,” said Wayne afterwards.
