PACKARD 110 DELUXE

THE HISTORY

Traditionally Style but with a new Two-Tone Fashion

As one of the last traditionally-styled Packard sedans, the company introduced the radical Clipper midway through the 1941 model year. A feature of this particular car is its two-toned body (two-toned colour schemes becoming fashionable in the early 1940’s). Packard offered a wide range of two-tone schemes, almost all of them matching one another perfectly. This particular car has never been off the road. The original owner was a Paarl dentist, Dr. P. Albertyn, who sold it to Dr. Jock van der Poel of Kroonstad. The third owner was the motoring historian Fred Schnetler.
